Ok... Im in the market for a 1985+ 635CSi 5-speed. Out of the very few that seem to be worth buying (and I do mean very few) a couple of them are the higher compression engine Euro gray market cars. From what I have read these are very different beasts than the typical North American version. Although they are more expensive to maintain, and god help you if some old bitch rear ends you, I may be interested in owning something that unique.
Im seeing a premium for the Euro cars of about $4000 over what a similar American example would cost. Does that sound about right? Does that sound like too much?
