    What wires dont belong?

    now that i finished my swap... its time to tame this mess. idk where to start. i wanna whoop the previous owners ass or whoever worked on this car before me. the cars an 89 325i convertible and the engines a 95 m3.

        Start by untangling everything back as far as you can and then separate each individual harness (I.E. - Left headlight, right headlight, horns, etc.) into it's own group. After that, figure out what you don't need and cut it out. Once you have everything nice and tidy, start wrapping. I suggest wrapping each separate piece from it's connector back as into the main harness a few inches. Then start at the very beginning of the main bundle and start wrapping down towards the end, leaving the individual harnesses out where they should be. Also, when you start to wrap, start the tape a few inches down from the end, wrap up to the end, then go back over what you just wrapped. This will seal the end and make it so there are no exposed ends of the tape.
