I used to go there as a kid, Im 30 now and the track closed in the late 90's, Due to the influx of Yuppie Hamptonites who disliked the noise from the track. Now there is a golfcourse in its place, with some parts of the track still in tact.
Sad how such a cool part of racing history can get shut down in favor of something like a golf course, which we have plenty of on Long Island
