That part of the move makes no sense
1. Hits Nos
2. Danger to Mainifold! WTF?
3. Passanger Floor Pan Falls Out! WTF why is the floor pan cut out and a plate bolted on, ant why did it fall out?
4. Engine is blowing steam, suggesting blown radiator or head jasket, due to NOS.
5. Cops Show up and his car is magically fixed? WTF
chemistry lesson. NOS is nitrous oxide. two parts oxygen, one part nitrogen. so by spraying NOS into the intake of a motor, it adds more o2. then the computer pumps in more fuel to compensate. more fuel and o2 make more combustion, more combustion is more power.
i'd do it, if my motor wasn't freshly rebuilt and cam'd.

definately be fun though.
This depends if you have a AFM or MAF. AFM won't compinsate for the extra oxygen, it dose not know there is extra oxygen.
I installed a kit on a customer's ford focus a few years back. It was pretty simple. A toggle switch to power the system, wide open throttle switch to fire the nitrous/fuel mix. When the system was armed, and the accelerator floored it would spray nitrous+fuel. It pulled like crazy, I was quite impressed.
The other system you guys are describing that counts on the stock injection system to add fuel sounds like melted pistons waiting to happen!
Nos just makes me think F&F no matter how you put it. You really need to tune your engine for it otherwise the gain really is not worth the possable engine damage.
Plus I keep remembing those Gumball videos where the guy is heating his NOS tank up with a blow torch in a petrol station. Then he hits the street to drag some douch and his engine blows up and catches on fire. I LMAO.
NOS should be the last performance upgrade not the first.
Nitrous is the best bang for the buck upgrade, if done right, period.
Ever see the Jag on Top Gear? Yeahhh.....
Under 100 shot and you should be OK without messing with shit. When I talke N02 it should be assumed wet shot, as that's the only smart way to do N02.
Nitrous is just a manner in which to put more oxygen into the engine. A turbo is just a way to cram more oxygen into the engine.
It's just cheap power. You get a few yucks, then can roll back to street driving, no problemo. Turbo, tune and boost is always there, but who races on the street anyways..?
....and before anyone get's their panties all in a wad, I'm not advocating N02 over turbo. I love turbos, and would love to have one. This is just for those interested in N02.
So anytime you need a Band-Aid, you don't say the brand, you say "adhesive bandage strips", right?
If you're ever eating Jell-O, you don't say the brand, you say "gelatin", right?
If you ever need a Q-Tip, you don't say the actual brand, you say "cotton swabs", right?
When you need a Kleenex, you don't say the actual brand, you say "tissue", right?
Typically I find myself to agree with you but in the case of nitrous I don't consider nos anywhere near the standard to anyone except those who have seen too many shitty movies... There are way better brands that I would consider a stable like nx...
I don't call all mufflers flownasters...
I don't call all turbos greddy's...
I don't call all carburetors holly...
I dont call all coil overs bilsteins...
