if it's not rusted on, use the drain plug. doesn't get any easier than that.. actually, even if it is rusted, use an impact and some penetrating oil. don't use a torch for obvious reasons.

take off the fuel pump outlet hose, direct into bucket. Power pump, watch bucket fill.

Since the level of complexity has gone up in this thread, I offer my solution.

Seriously though, just PB the shit out of the drain plug and take it out. Short of that, they make siphons that are hand powered. I've done a few that way, since in Virgnie they tend to get a little rusty in the underparts of the tank.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5
