    Hello newb.

My favorite stock e30 non-m is an ES. I have two :) Most people prefer the i's over the etas, but there's just something about these E's that I love.

    Post pics.

    And your mom ______.

You'll find most of us here prefer the powa of the i/is cars although we habve our share of M42 and 325e members. Just don't mention you have an Eta too often and you'll be fine... lol, I kid [I think}.

You'll catch flack if you drive anything but a 325i/is or M3. ;)

I like the 325es, but I like the M42 more. Who would have though?
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

          koo.
oh yea just to let u noe. This car is a hand me down from my parents, and im trying to restore it to stock condition. My family are the first owners of the car
          but...
my parents arent really big on "repairs." Ill try to get pics on later but, there not too pretty. THE GOOD:It still has all the stock parts which is good. the engine has about 220,000 miles on it and still running strong. The sport seats are in good condition. THE BAD: It seems on the front valence, my mom ran over a curb and scratched off the paint. The right fender was bent in by a cement pole, and my mom chipped off a piece of the bumper. Oh yea if any one out there has the black bumper piece tell me, it looks bad with a chunk missing. Well thats my car. Pics up soon :o

The BAD? That's not the BAD. That's THE NORM. That's GOOD for us ;)

PS - typppppeee fulllll woooooords...."just to let u noe" - might get a kick to the nuts for another one of those doozies. :) Shit, you saved one letter typing "noe" instead of "know." And it's not like you can't spell - if you couldn't, you'd have typed "siment" instead of "cement" :)

Right, Ill have to remember that. Im still stuck in AIM chat mode. Really? That's Normal? I guess i need to look around the forum a bit more. I think I just have to repaint some trim and get a new front bumper trim piece too. And my air conditioning is gone. Don't know why or how to fix it, and the shop says it will cost a bundle. A soon to be project car. well, hopefully. I'll still try to get those pictures soon.

Yes, AIM chat mode will make you no friends here ;) Take your time, spell everything out, it'll make you look wickid shmat!

Show us some pics. We'll be able to tell you what parts you need, and those of us who have parts cars and parts lying around may be able to provide you with those parts.

As for AC - I've got 5 E30's, none of them have AC :) I've all but given up on AC in these cars - conversions are costly and labor intensive, and R12 is illegal. BMW put sunroofs in 90% of these cars for a reason ;)

Do you have them hosted on a website, like yahoo or photobucket?

if that works... as u can see im missing a piece of my bumper on the right and the bumper needs a repainting if i dont get a new one.

And this is the back, with the cool looking bent tailpipe and the 325es badge.
Sorry for the bad resolution on the last picture
                        Not too bad i guess.
