    Best camera/mount for my car?

So I have been inundated with people asking me to post videos of my e30 project, so I need to get an HD camera and mounts for it. What is standard operating procedure here? It looks like the big names are Go Pro Hero HD and Contour HD, is hta tright? How about mounts? Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

GoPro's are really good, durable and have great mounting packages with the cameras. You can stick them on with these crazy sticky pads (not recommended for anywhere on your car body) and other great mounting devices.

You could also fab something up yourself, a popular place is using the headrest support bars as a mount and having the camera positioned between the two seats. But it's small and lightweight making it east to mount anywhere, inside or out.

I made a mount that attaches to the headrests and positions the camera in the middle. It's simple and easy to make. Mine is aluminum bar stock, and could be a little bit thicker to avoid resonance at times, but it's really not bad.
