You know you can make those with fox hinges, latches and body seals. Then just drilling your glass for the latch and pivots, right?

I switched to pop puts from stationary windows. One of the latches is a little weak though and it auto closes at 80 mph on the freeway.

Drivers in modern people movers are always like WTF?

The only thing I don't like about mine is that the pass. side is somehow loose and when I hit a bump, it sometimes closes. Which would be fine, but the damn sound always scares the hell out of me, sounds like a wheel fell off.

LOL i had a Kadett w/popout windows. the glue that held it on the hinges was bad, one cold night going down the highway i said to passengers, "dont open the windows back there" well somebody wonders why? then pow it was like instant loss of cabin pressure. ha ha told you dum dum

I kind of like them, as far as functionality and they also make the headliner job easier to do since they aren't as PITA to install as fixed side glass... But! They are also another way for someone to quickly break into your car? And can cause extra noise/water to get in.

I guess I'd rather stick with fixed glass myself.

Dont look too good, but I had them on my previous 325i...
I dont have them on the B3 i have now, and I think they were great for the hot day with no A/C.
Didnt have A/C in the 325, so it was great.

have A/C in the B3 but not doing anything !!! so I miss them really !

I loved the functionality but hated the aesthetics however, I've grown to like them all around after shadowlining....

But, then when you forget to eventually fully latch them from the inside the car, and it rains or you go to a carwash and water gets in your car it sucks.
