    New to e30s

    heyy everybody, im new to e30s but i am inspierd by them due to the fact that i my some of my closest friends are into them aswell, any ways im making this thread beceuse im lookin to buy an e30 and was just wondering what should i look out for and be aware of when im looking at a patencial match if any one could help it would be awsome. thanxx:D

      Welcome!

      As far as potential matches, I think that depends on what you want. Convertible, Coupe, Sedan, high-revving 4 cylinder, economic ETA/SETA engine, etc.

      Look out for rust, look for maintenance records, etc.

      Some people prefer the 89-91 models that have plastic bumpers. You can also put them on `88s. `88s and `89's (I think) had ellipsoid headlights which are preferable to sealed beam lights found on all other years.

      MTech I and MTech II kits are very desirable.

      More specific info kind of depends on what model you want...

          Bronzit's have a 12.7% markup over other colors due to rarity.

                    ive been looking around in my town and there is a 91 bmw 325i and it looks good other the a few dings, talked to the owner and it was his baby but due to work he had to buy somthing that is a lil more reliable on that note hes asking 1800$ for it and when i asked him whats wrong with it he said nothing (a bit peculiar if you ask me) but then he jumped in and it started like a dream.
