I was wrong. Not in a good way.
The motor hits 4.8K at 80MPH.
At 4K, it is 65MPH.
(5th gear of course)
I have stock wheels and tires are the right size.
WTF is going on with my diff? At this point, i think that my trans is involved too. This is messed up.
I don't know what the deal is.

PO didnt swap the diff? look at the tag on the back cover and post what you find.

I guess you have a 24V motor. You have a 1:1 trans (a ZF or a G250) and a 4.10.

Also, tire/wheel size is irrelevant when you are comparing the tach and speedo on your car.

On a side note, has anyone noticed a difference in speedo reading with a 4.10lsd and a 5-speed? My speedo reads about 10mph fast.

im happy with my 373, I you ring out your engine like me the gears are great! 3rd gear @6800 doing 90 .. shit i did 140 at allmost 6k in 5th... is that short?? no lol

differential ratio doesn't change the speedo. At all.

Interesting. Maybe it is just my speedo then. My OBC seems to guess the correct speed when I set my "Max Mph".

I can barely do 95 in third at 6800 with a 3.73. You must be revving out to 7500rpm or something.

Yep! Saves a 3rd gear shift in autox, although I havent been able to take advantage of it much.
