you should probably call tin ranch and get a quote if you're not doing it yourself. They do ALL of Dreyer & Reinbold BMW's collision repairs. Owner knows his shit and it's the only place I would trust around here. church brother on the east side is alright but they charge around the same prices for a less thorough job.

Damn! I think mine was about $1300 or so... but I need to get dent shit done soon. Might look into Maaco again for a darker blue and body work. Just gotta get some new trim.

Be very weary of work done by a 'friend' or 'friend of a friend.' Typically its either crap work and you aren't getting hooked up at all, or you are getting hooked up, but if something doesn't go exactly as you wanted it, you have no recourse as it was an off the books deal.
I saw someone mention single stage metallic, yes it exists. BUT, you have to polish it near immediately after painting, otherwise when you polish, you just remove the color from over the metallic flakes and you just have fully exposed metal flakes in your paint surface.
A single stage job done proper shouldnt be less than 2500, and two stage add paint and labor for another coat or two, so 4000 for 2 stage.sigpicComment
