seems like a pretty good buy for $4500 (atlanta)

    1986 190e 2.3 racecar.

The car boasts a full roll cage, camber plates, weight reduction, track suspension derived from 500e components, two full sets of slicks on stock wheels, new bladder in the FIA rated fuel safe (over $800 alone), window net, master electrical shut off, Kirkey racing seat, sunroof delete with factory roof panel, flared fenders, coated tube headers, 4.22:1 locked diff, and much more.

The engine and trans are stock 190e 2.3 components. Our long term plans were to install a C32 kompressor motor or a tweaked m117 5.0. While not the fastest car out there, it will let you have fun and not break the bank.

This car could not be duplicated for twice the price. This is a very nimble car in the corners. Will also make a fabulous drift or hillclimb car as well.

Safe and simple to maintain. Parts are cheap and plentiful for these cars. Go racing in safety and with the knowledge you will not have to rebuild the car every few races due to some sub-standard designed part failing. No rust ever. Comes with some spares, too: tires, wheels, differential, and more.

    2400 lbs wet!

Car is located at Old World Automotive in Lawrenceville and may be seen during business hours (9AM - 6 PM Monday -Friday) with an appointment. Call during shop hours to schedule a viewing. 404-550-8000. Dreamers, tire kickers, and scammers need not apply. Serious inquiries only. Cash only. NO joyrides!

NOS AMG Pentas with virgin tires as shown on car are not included but are available for an additional $1500 to whoever buys the car.

      Stay with e30s

Ive always liked the w201, when the clutch went on my ETA i got a 89 190e 2.6 5 speed, it was a great car but no e30.

      I sold the 190e and bought a 88 325i.

If you're into sportscars, then the only W201 worth owning is a 16v. The one we've been building up with Levent has turned into a real beast on the track. It combines the best elements of the E30 M3 (pin-sharp handling, buzz-bomb engine, and forgiving on-limit behavior) and E36 M3 (chassis rigidity, high-speed stability, and modern aero) with a dose of Eurotrash boy-racer good looks.

The rest of the 190E range is pretty uninteresting to the enthusiast driver.
