Had an In-N-Out with a ditch today...

Yeah, here you go Ryan...posted just for you :P.

I was driving my '90 325iS at the BMWCCA San Diego "First Annual Rally San Diego" around the backroads of Eastern S.D. County, and it was raining a bit with some light hail...

...once it stopped raining I picked the pace back up, but carried too much speed into a medium righthand sweeper and got the car sideways...couldn't bring her back in line and so off the right side of the road and into the shallow weed-filled ditch I went. Bounced around in there for 15 or so feet and back onto the road...and kept going.

Damage, all to the passenger side:

-- Foglight lens cracked (already had a hole)
-- Brake Duct and black-plastic air-channeling piece gone (the duct was already broken before the incident)
-- Valance severely bent (it already had a nice kink in it from the previous owner, and this gives me a perfect excuse to get a new one instead of trying to carefully straighten the old one)...thankfully the hasn't been any lip on the valance since before I bought the car, so nothing was lost in that department...

That's about it...nothing too exciting...it was actually kinda fun.

Zing, yo worked the side of the valance pretty good. :P
Mine was bent just enough for a Jeep and tow-strap to pull it straight.
