Must have been a long time ago. I rarely see E30's for sale here, unless they're just ripped to shreds. Clean examples are very hard to come by in MD.

Looks clean. I'd pay it. I paid $4300 for an 89 325is that prolly was about that clean with 137k on it and I'm happy. I've got a set of black door panels if you do buy it. PM me for info on those.

looks nice, liking the color alot. if the seats are ripped, its really not that big of a deal, just a good excuse to get some real seats! personally, i think you should offer him the money for the truck parked next to it, but thats cause im a die hard mini truckin guy from long ago!

I wonder if it is an IS. Look under those covers and make sure it has sport seats. Hard to tell in the pic, but it looks like it is missing the lip.

My way of thinking, if the paint is a high quality job and the engine and other problem areas check out, 3900 is on the high side. Not crazy high, but more than I might pay.
Show me one e30 iS w/ a front lip for sale and I'll show you 20 without.

It has the Mtec1 wheel, rear iS spoiler and basketweaves. Those are seat covers.... sport seats should be underneath. If it's still not enough you can always do the 1st gear donut to really find out.

Anyhow, if blue tickles your pickle, I say go for it.

like everyone was saying if the paint is good then its a great deal... i paid 4k for my car with 150k on the clock.

check for overspray, fisheyes, and orange peel, waves in the pannels, fitment and so forth... if you are planning to mod the car yourself and are generally handy (mechanically) then it is a great deal.

there are magnetic tools that tell the thickness of the paint/filler i would recomend getting one and going over the car to find areas with large amounts of filler

also what type of paint was used (single stage/base clear) you want a base clear... and also the brand (PPG, Dupont, Omni....)

We picked the car up today. 85 mile drive from where we live. He went down to 3000, then took 2800 for it. It was a good deal at 2800. The seats need to be replaced a few things dont work ie; antenna, drivers side door lock, windsheild washer pump, needs new windsheild, and bumper trim. Needs new hood which we are going to get next week from him. Car has 139k on it, pulls great. Rebuilt cylinder head looks clean inside with new t-belt water pump radiator. Original color was lachsilber and engine bay was not resprayed.

Car rode well, did good on the hway. I drove it back for my buddy. We will have pictures of it up here soon in members rides. Seller was a real good guy (lots of toys). That tacoma in the pictures is for sale too, so if anyone know anyone who wants it, we've got contact info.

Oh this is good shit. I paid $2,750 for mine! I gotta see this car. Glad to see its going to an E30 enthusiast, and I know you'll give it some love too Jon. I hope you get all those little things squared away quickly!

And tell him to post shots of it, I want to see the paintjob! Oh and euro trim, not US trim man.

sounds like some pretty easy little things to fix except maybe spraying the new hood. cant wait to see pics of it when its all together and sorted out.
