I used to haul my toolbox everywhere. But now I just carry the trunk toolkit, and a small toolbox with my electrical stuff in it. Connectors, tape, test leads, Multimeter, test light, spare fuses. When I go on long trips I bring my Big toolbox, and a reflective vest, flashlight and blanket, in case I have to change a flat at night.
Do you keep tools in your E30?

I have a socket/ratchet set that fits in the factory jack hiding spot, and a small tool box stuffed with tools. The toolbox is mostly just so I don't have to lug stuff in/out of my apt. when I go to work on one of my cars. I usually carry a 10mm socket, rachet, screw drivers, and extra fuel pumps with some carb cleaner. I got a rust problem in my tank you know, but I got everything to fix it on the side of the road.Originally posted by TimKninjaRacelands are cheap shit.Originally posted by whodwhoSo are r3v members

Around town I don't as help is just a call away, but if I go on trips I have a toolbag I keep with basic tools and some emergency spare parts....Ecu/fuel pump/relays/hose/clamps/fluids/etc.. I've only needed it once when my clutch slave went out but having it saved me a lot of money and headache.Comment
