I used to haul my toolbox everywhere. But now I just carry the trunk toolkit, and a small toolbox with my electrical stuff in it. Connectors, tape, test leads, Multimeter, test light, spare fuses. When I go on long trips I bring my Big toolbox, and a reflective vest, flashlight and blanket, in case I have to change a flat at night.

I have a socket/ratchet set that fits in the factory jack hiding spot, and a small tool box stuffed with tools. The toolbox is mostly just so I don't have to lug stuff in/out of my apt. when I go to work on one of my cars. No garage space ftl.

That's exactly what I carry because of my studs as well, and some spare water.

I usually carry a 10mm socket, rachet, screw drivers, and extra fuel pumps with some carb cleaner. I got a rust problem in my tank you know, but I got everything to fix it on the side of the road.

Besides the half empty factory tool kit, I have a small 1/4" Craftsman metric ratchet set that is usually in the glovebox.

I keep a gallon of Rotella
My Craftsman 106 Piece Socket Set
                      My Wright wrenches (10-19mm)
A gallon of water (in a BMW antifreeze container :))
Some ATF fluid (What I had leftover from powersteering flush)
                      A tire pressure guage
                      A electrical test light
A roll of blue shop towels

A milk crate holds it all, minus my wrenches and sockets

I want to add brake fluid and some other things

All i got is a 17mm deep socket and breaker bar for the lugs..... should definatly put my factory kit together and in the car and make a small tool box for long trips.

Factory tool kit for me too, plus a quart of oil. I need to find a screw driver though.

Around town I don't as help is just a call away, but if I go on trips I have a toolbag I keep with basic tools and some emergency spare parts....Ecu/fuel pump/relays/hose/clamps/fluids/etc.. I've only needed it once when my clutch slave went out but having it saved me a lot of money and headache.
