Well, in the 1977 original, it's your typical upper middle class couple where he works and she doesn't. They're in tons of debt, and he loses his job. Unable to find a job, they turn to robbing banks to keep up their lifestyle. Hilarity ensues.

I imagine this one will be similar, but will include more sexual references and pop culture jokes that will be tired in 6 months.

Oh, I'm sure Jim Carrey will make noises too.

speaking of spotting e30s in movies, watch 'pink floyd the wall', in one of the animation sequences there is an e30 in the wall. it's just the front end, so i'm not sure what model, but it's easily seen. everyone must see that movie, but not just for the bmw...

Men in Black, will smith goes running after the stolen cab driven by the morgue lady and bug. as he rounds the corner and theres 2340984 cabs, behind him to his right looks like an early model grey or black e30 :D its there for 1/4 second, then again for a second or two

In that new show "Adam Carolla Project" Adam had a lachs e30 m3 in his garage when that guy was installing new rotors on his Aston Martin. Not a movie but I thought it was pretty cool.
