The HF impact gun is quite impressive, IMO. I would buy it, and if it sucks or you don't have enough air, just return it.

Impact guns need a BUNCH of air.

1/2" 24v. I forgot they had a 3/8", they don't carry that one in the store. I haven't had any issues with it that I didn't cause, like forgetting to charge the battery.

Do you have the 3/8" 14.4v or 1/2" 24v cordless?

How long have you had it / any problems?

Also my friend has the corded one, and while it works well it's a lot bulkier than the cordless.

both impacts appear to be the same manufacturer (regardless of brand on the box) and appear to be shit as well. Rent one and see if it does what you need it to do

did you look at either of the ones from Harbor Frieght/Autozone? Which one out of the two do you think will be better quality?

My guibo is the 19mm one. I've tried many different options. Ratchet with cheater bar, Working two combination wrenches against eachother, poor man's impact on using box wrench side and I have tried linking some combination wrenches together to get more leverage. I've tried doing this with and without the transmission support bar mounted. I posted a thread in the Transmission and Driveshaft last weekend. Anywho, seems like an impact wrench is my last option, and that is what others on here have told me to use as well.

These are the two I have in mind:

    One from Autozone
    and
    One from Harbor Freight

Has anyone bought any of these to know if they actually put out the torque stated? Heck, I'd be happy with half of the stated torque since the guibo bolts are only supposed to be torqued to ~90 ft-lbs.

Probably going to go out and buy one tonight so any opinions would be nice!

if your talking about the 6 bolts on the guibo (3 connect guibo to trans, 3 connect guibo to driveshaft) then just use two 17mm wrenches. i dont think your gonna b able to fit that drill under the car. hope thats helps!!
