lost key to trunk

    In your case your trunk is locked. Like you turned the key to the right and dead bolted it. Playing with the actuators gets you nowhere. Best suggestion is random tools mentioned above. Bust out your tail light. It's easy. Go ahead ask how I know.
    I need your obd1 parts! Harness intake ecu etc.

        that's what I thought too but when I back to the dealership to complain they told me the trunk key is thinner than the master key if I gave them $55 bucks they could order one of those too. instead I said no thanks and went and got a "thin" version made for $3 bucks and that one works everywhere.

            ^yeah they are. while doing my z3 steering rack swap I needed the two hex nuts and clamp rings that secure the outer tie rods unto the inners and I went to them to try and see if they had them there in stock and they wanted $60 bucks for them. Then I called blunt tech and he had them for $23.
