I saw a warehouse of these things, like 5-6 of them just stacked on shelves...
it would cost a fortune to build the car, probably around $100k in parts and labor to make a "NEW" E30 M3.
That chassis is not that desireable, as it has a sunroof, and if you are doing all that work, you might as well NOT have a sunroof an save the weight. 8)

Sunroof or not, with a bare shell like that you can build up your own light-weight variation of the E30 M3, like a "club sport,"...providing you have deep enough pockets. Lots of carbon-fiber stuff, welded in rollcage, built-up 2.5L S14.....you get the idea. Financially impractical...yes. Cool as ever...hell yes :D
