Have a really nice E30 in the NE? read post

I am posting this request from the Bimmerfest board - Popular Mechanics is looking for a car to do a photo shoot. If your in NJ & have a car like they want, contact this guy!!

    Hi everyone,

I am an assistant auto editor at Popular Mechanics magazine, and we are looking for a 1987-1991 BMW 325i to photograph for an upcoming story. The car needs to be stock and in very good condition. The photo shoot will take place on the weekend of July 23rd and 24th in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, so the owner would most likely need to live on the East Coast. The shoot and possible video should only take about two hours. If interested, please contact me at adelcolle@hearst.com to send some photos and answer some follow-up questions. Please also feel free to repost this request in other applicable threads and forums.

    Thanks,

    Andrew Del-Colle[/QUOTE]

I'd love to do this. Except my car's motor swapped. And not at all stock. And a total piece of shit. And I live on the West coast.

            Andrew,
You should really contact Levent at Guten Motor sports. He goes by "ZM Blue Devil" here & on the different boards. The web page is www.gutenparts.com. That's his base so he should be able to find what your looking for quick.

I sent an email this morning and haven´t heard back yet... I have a very nice, original, unmolested 325iS. I´m traveling in Peru this week and wasn´t able to send photos. Was anyone able to contact him successfully?

If they would consider a vert, my trim wasnt slightly popping out on the rear bumper, or my dash cracked, I would put mine in....

Im all stock and it is-after the last week running perfect. No vac leaks, new/recent almost everything....

just missing carpets.....its in need of a detail though, andf my window rubber has been to hell and back. But thats up close type of stuff. which is probably what they aren't looking for

Them: "Is your interior in good shape as well?"
Me: "Um, well... What's left of it. If you don't count the dash. Or wheel. Or door cards. But the clock is in absolutely FANTASTIC condition".
