I had mine done locally for $160 from phoenix rack and axle.
I had a spare (thanks Levent) dropped it off and 3 days later it was done. They balanced. It and installed my new CSB.
The drive shaft was not machined so I can replace the joints myself again, but they last a really long time on their own.
I would look locally before you get dinged with the shipping.
BTW Phoenix rack and axle ships too and can do everything inhouse. Alot of places can't do BMW or Benz driveshafts inhouse because it takes a special fixture to do them, so you incur extra charges for outside labor.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

haha man I would but it seems like my car is such a fucking money pit, i just need to get to a point where I can drive it for a couple years without the constant clunking - I've just done a FULL suspension overhaul, new tiers, and exhaust :?
I haven't tried locally yet, but I highly doubt I'd get it done for less than $400Comment

Two years ago they charged $480, which included the CSB (installed) and shipping both ways. $100 core charge. IIRC what separates Driveline Service of Portland, Inc is that they balance at 2500 RPM.I Timothy 2:1-2Comment

Either will be fine. I went with Bimmerworld, but I've also always heard good things about Driveline of Portland. BW driveshaft was nicely done, cured my vibration, easy shipping, easy return, no complaints. So far it has held up to the increased power of my S52 swap.sigpic
