What's the big deal with armrests? Neither of my cars have them, not a big deal. At least my other car has a cupholder.

^ I want to find the cup holder that fits in front of the shifter - covers up the ashtray and relocates the cig lighter. They look nice and I've only seen them in like 2 e30s. I saw the website but they're out of stock.

It is pretty high..took some getting used to and I'm still not sure I'm gonna keep it. A cupholder is good for my coffee with a 5 speed.

Just stumbled up on this thread and wanted to share my experience with one I bought recently from eBay (before seeing this thread) to try in case someone else might be interested to know.

1. I couldn't find a proper place to mount the base and ended up drilling and mount it directly on the center console sides. Though it sort of worked it wasn't really stable enough, IMO.
2. You have to mount it bit high and back as others have done so it doesn't interfere with the ebrake. I didn't try to adjust the ebrake height which would have help to not install it too high as to defeat the whole purpose since you can't comfortable set your right elbow on it.
3. Lastly, I've found it totally interfered with shifting (nobody mentions this about Husco so I don't know how it doesn't) and this is the biggest reason why I took it off and it's sitting in my garage.

I could see how this can work if you have an auto and adjust the ebrake handle height. The extra storage and pop-out cupholder feature is a big plus but don't even try on an manual car. HTH.
