1985 524td is mine! Purchased with the intent of installing the engine into my 1987 325ic 5 speed. Problem is, maybe the car is too nice to part? 10x,xxx miles, nice interior, new tires. Needs some love...bronzit hood, a/c charge, etc. Runs very well, shifts well, automatic transmichigan. I think this car is a blast to drive...slowly. 30 mpg in town, 40 mpg, over the road, in a 5 series! 5 speed turbo diesel in the vert would be fun and funny.
