Honest to god it is a well done kit. Props for the craftsman with what money he has to do it. But a cougar? lol
Up close anyone would know it is a knock off, but passing on the highway no would would have time to think otherwise IMO. Front flares are too tall, rearend and flanks are all off. Interior is an honest ugly mess. But it has the shape and I guess if people buy a knock off Rolex...then why not a Veyron?~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

Shit, does it really matter what he started with? He probably had a shitbox Cougar sitting around and got to looking on Yahoo News where the guys in Malaysia are doing the same shit and decided he would do one.
Like me saying I think I'll make one of my parts e30s into a Rolls Royce just 'cause I have it laying around. I'm not going to buy a car with the intentions of doing this. I'm going to use what I have. Already gonna be spending way more than the car is worth doing this.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5

If I was capable of building this, I would exclusively sell these (probably a less durable version) to filming companies and profit in a huge way.

I don't get it.
I would love to hear from a person who is legitimately into replicas.
There seems to be a market for that sort of thing:
