Tons of reasons for this, I suggest you search for it.
water in the front floors is probably from pinched/plugged drains in the front of your rockers though, if parked on a down hill slope especialy, the water can build up till it spills into you cabin from the holes on the inside of the rocker cavity.

That sorta makes sense, the car was parked on a down hill. Can clogged sunroof drains cause that? I've searched everywhere and ive checked the elephant tube also and it was clean.

Had the same problem...Open sunroof and on the front corners you should see a hole on each side smaller than a dime, push a long four foot or so cable through a few times ( I used a shielded RCA type) something pliable and stiff. Leaves and dirt can clog these up resulting in water in your floor boards.

yes, even if the tubes are clear though, they drain into your rocker panels (IDK why either) if the drains in the very front, or very back of the rocker panels are blocked, the water level inside the rocker raises till it finds a way out...which is usually one of the structual spaces on the inside of the car's foot well area.

the drains are no more tha slit sized spaces between metal in the forward and rear areas in the rocker panels near the wheel wells.

Wonder if drilling a small hole in the rocker would relieve some of the over flow?

Today i took the seats, carpet and dash out and i think found the water leak!!

The sunroof drain tubes for the front were block with crap and the rocker was damaged, i used an air gun to blow out all the crap in the tubes and drilled some holes in the rocker to avoid overflow.

My front windshield rubber wasn't fitted on properly and that was also causing a leak under loads of water, therefore i'll need to replace that rubber.

I also found some holes that the P/O drilled in the firewall and floor pan for a dead pedal, the dead pedal was removed from the car and the holes weren't closed off. I fabricated some plugs and use silicone to seal them off.

I hope after 10 hours of work i've solved my water leak!!! what a nightmare.

                Was.
