How much to do 5spd swap?

I been looking for nice E30 with 5spd but I could not find any in good shape. I found one E30 in grate shape with no rust but Auto.
How much it would be to do 5spd swap. I can't do it since I live in apartment have to pay someone to do it.

If you have ALL the parts expect around 1000 to do the job properly. Let me know if you want it done. I have a shop in Branford, ct

Should take about 8-10 hours, so what ever they charge by the hour plus all the needed parts. So if you do it yourself with all used parts as little as $400-500. With used and new parts and a shop does it $1300-2000.

If you're going to pay someone to do it, you'd be better off finding a car that is already a 5sp, otherwise you're gonna dump half (or more) of the purchase price of the car, into the car, immediately, so that should be factored into what you are paying for the car.

Someone who would do it themselves, or with some friends over a weekend, cost maybe $500 max.....and that includes lunch, but not beer.

$500 if you use all junkyard stuff maybe. if you start replacing stuff you could spend double or triple that on parts easily. you could probably spend $500 just on the clutch/pp/flywheel.
