    Tint question

Any of you fellas tint your car for reasons of keeping your interior cool and from wearing and your driving arm from being tanned? Was it actually noticeable?

I got 30% tint for that purpose. With the combination of a sunshade it does help, but it's still a million degrees in my car in the summer. Black leather doesn't help.

5% will do that for you real well.

Yeah, I forgot to add the darker the better for heat. My tint guy told me that but I still went light because I don't like the look of tint. At least I don't get burned by my seats anymore.

A sunshade will do wonders and folding down the seat helps but no tint for me.

Visibility is something i won't compromise. I was looking at getting suntek cxp at 80%. The lightest tint with a IR heat rejection of 44%. However if everyone thinks this setup won't make a noticable difference ill stick to no tints and save the money.

15% is what I have used on every vehicle I have owned. I noticed the difference in temperature (lower). The only issue I have ever had is parallel parking at night as it can be a bitch to see out the back window.
