Me and my buddies help build a 94 rx7 with a built 383. Now, a few months later its broken in (after breaking abotu 5 drive shafts).. It is capable or holding a 200shot of nitrous, but its just not needed. This car is so sick! It ran low 9's with a bad launch and wheel spin.

        v8 power!!

If i can find a pic, il be glad to post it.

I cant imagine how tough it'd be to drive a front heavy over powered car on a small auto x course... Props to him!

^^^ I am pretty sure the he is right, the only problem you would have is getting traction out of a corner with that much torque

And wouldnt an RX-7 with an LS1 be like a lightweight non fiberglass C5 corvette. Maybe its just me but I think that GM copied the design of the RX-7 for the C5.

its just you. the rx7 if anything is a knock off of the 924/944 porsche. hence why they redisgned/rebadged it as the 968.

as far as not being able to control, it all comes down to how heavy your foot is coming out of the corner. its not like 1/8th throttle equals ass out :!:

:? you sure its not because the 924/944 series was a decade old and porsche tends to revamp their models in 8-10 year cycles?

Are you talking about the last RX-7 (FD3?) or the late eightys one.

Do you have a thing for chevys or did you not notice that the side vents are the same, the rear hatch is really similar, the shape of the body in general. Yeah the corvette is wider and has longer overhangs but that about all of I can think of as far as visual differences
