    Pricey '87 325is

    Hey there,

I found a 1987 325is black/black 5spd with 39,000 miles, they are asking $15,900 USD! What do you all think? Is that a fair price? Seems high, but it most likely is in very good condition, the dealer says it was owned by two BMW fanatics and it was kept in a climate controlled garage. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I just talked to the dealer today and they said someone was interested but could not come up with the money, they told me the deal was for $14,000. What would be a fair price for that car?

Unless you're looking to garage the car and keep it in the same shape you bought it in, It will be the fastest depreciating asset you could buy.

No, there's money involved so he's selling her.

And yea, that's too much. I'd rather have a super clean low mileage E36 M3 for that money.

                      I'd rather have my M3 than a girlfriend. M3 doesn't mouth off.

She doesn't throw SRS or ABS lights either, but at least I can drive the shit out of the car without it screaming or getting "hurt."

don't spend any more than $100 on an E30. it needs to have at least 450,000 miles and 25 previous owners before it's broken in. also once you buy an E30, don't spend more on it than what you originally paid for it, even if you got it free.
