how much would you pay for a 1990 318i dashboard with 2 small cracks in it?

A crack is a crack and it's going to do nothing but get bigger/longer under the sun.

if a couple cracks just started more are on the way.I bought my car with 2 cracks a year later their are 5.if I was going to the trouble of changing the dash it would be crack free.

aussie may be different than over here but I wouldnt pay anything for a cracked dash...if my dash was cracked and i put another cracked one back in it what would be the point? I just wouldnt do all that work for more of the same..

i can understand what you are all saying,

but, the condition of the dashboard is excellent, the crack is located in that cupholder type thing on the passenger side and is is the bottom curve facing towards the front of the car, so it is not visible when sitting inside the car,

the other split is underneath the headlight knob on the right hand side,

i know these dashboards are old and crack easily

i bought this dashboard on ebay for 600 AUD

i inspected it after work, so i wasnt there when it was delivered and foudn these cracks, now i didnt pay though paypal i did a direct bank deposit to the seller and now the seller is refusing to refund my money,

the ebay ad for the dashboard stated nothing about refunds or return periods or that the dahsboard had cracks only that it was in excellent condition

i started a case with ebay, what happens now, anybody else had experience with this?

Crackles dashes go for 100 - 130 AUD here.
