man never thought i'd desire a newer car, but the 135i is calling my name....

god damn its so sexy and the chassis with power combo has me going bonkers...

I'm not sure which body style i would want most.... but whatever it is i want that damn 6 speed manual...
2011 model has a dual clutch 7 speed model? but i red on and its only tip-tronic and so forth, garbage.... these things seem like they would make amazing DD/track cars.

what is r3vs thought on the 135i?

Well my E90 335i with a 6 speed is just tits. So by association a 135i would be too.

My buddy has a one and my god the brakes. They can and will rip your face off. Going from my car to his at the track I could not believe how well they grabbed. The 335i already has larger brakes than the rest of the E90 fleet. I don't understand why BMW didn't put the 6 pots they have on the 135i on it as well.

Anyway they are still available in a stick, the 7 speed is optional.

      god i want so much...
imagine how sick this car would be with some 18x10 borbet A's and slammed, also some e30 sport style modern recaro's.
fuuuuuck i wish i had money.

Whats up with these threads lately? Everyone wants a newer car now and is asking for r3v's opinion? I'll make sure to have all my life decisions approved from r3v from now on.

You can't even get one of these without a sunroof. Gay.

just a thread about the 1 series and perks/disadvantages, just small talk, general forum talk ;)

Yes you can. For every standard extra there is a delete option for it.

Had the fortune of driving one and I too was impressed with the braking; which is what pisses me off about Forza because in that stupid game the freaking thing brakes horribly; which happens to be the only place I can afford to own one.

+1 Always thought white cars were pretty plain Jane until my uncle rolled up in a white 135i.

Meh. Open diff ruins the whole thing for me. That and the hpfp issues.

I prefer these in black over white. The black hides the saggy mid-section of the car, which is just hideous IMO. Other than that, yeah, pure effing sex!!

Test drove a 2008 135i with M-package in Germany when they were newish.. thing was fucking ridiculous. I have wanted one ever since. The cars just look great, and the interiors are practical. The power is just right, not too much, and definitely not too little.

                          Verdict: Do want.

We are putting my wife in a 135. We just need to find the right car. She likes the Mtech package seats better and we're having a hard time finding one for the right price. After driving it, I am fighting the urge not to get one as well.

The handling is sharp and responsive, the brakes are fantastic, the interior is comfortable as well as inviting and driver-centric. They look great as well. When the price comes down a little more I may grab a 128 as a daily.
