If you'd like to do a proper quality comparison get a couple of those pans then go buy some new OEM pans and do a series of stress tests, etc..
Anything less is just conjecture.
I don't think the oil pan is a structural. It should hold oil and meet packaging requirements. What sort of stress tests can one perform on an oil pan? Sledge to the drain plug? ;)
