I went through the same thing trying to get mine authenticated before I bought it. Nice find. The prior owner might have swapped out the m-tech cloth. If you have an original full leather (no m-tech cloth) package, then the code will indicate L7SW Schwarz Volledar. Check the link for pics of what the leather door panels should look like.

The wholesale dealer is the one I work for, BMW Concord. 04497 is the old dealer number. I might have detailed that car back in the day when I was in the detail dept.
