If you have a good engine hoist and nothing goes wrong, the better part of a day. 5pm - midnight would be doable.

Wow - that's not bad at all.

I take it air tools would help, but are they necessary?

Also, do you (or anyone else) have any experience installing a clutch?

I don't know if he'd be up for physically helping, but Brew is the new clutch expert around here... seems like he does a couple a week at the dealership. I'm sure he could answer any questions you have.

Sweet. Between the M50 swap, the non-vanos build, and the clutch questions poor Brew is gonna have his hands full ;)

I've still gotta check out the new place.

Thanks man - I agree, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Just to show that karma works fairly quickly sometimes...

The buyer is a transport driver for one of the Valvoline cars in Nascar - and has offered to give me a full, professional paint job on my project euro e30 - for nuthin. Free paint, free labor, in a professional booth by professional painters. Not to mention full vip access passes for the next NHIS race.

It all comes back to you - sometimes just quicker than others ;)

You're way too kind and selfless, people think you're strange. Move here, you'll fit in much better. ;)
