i got clocked at 60 over by a chp responding to a trash can in the middle of the road call ( there was never a trash can) and he almost hit 4 people trying to get me and i got away with 16 hours comm service. gotta love the norcal country side.

People who are smart and smoke weed eventually stop, because smoking weed is for idiots. Idiots who smoke will always be idiots. Plain and simple, I used to smoke weed and could probably still smoke all you stoners under the table. But, that shits wack. Get a better hobby. At some point you will realize 2 years w/o license was not worth going to get high.

Not all are tokers are idiots, I just hit that point where I damn near quit a few months ago, it's good to kick some knowledge down every once in a while. To me there are some life lessons better or more easily learned through smoking. He is in the infant stages, the basics. Don't carry glass pieces you wouldn't want to smash and don't bag shit up, its either gonna be a distribution charge or a piece of evidence you forget about later and ends up on the carpet in the car waiting to catch you up in a court case. Once he has a grasp of the basics he'll hit some philisophical, life-practice knowledge type of shiet. Crawling before you walk. He's still crawling. Give the kid a break because I bet he won't have baggies in the future or at the very least he won't get caught the same way twice.

my ordeal:
happened in cali. i was 16, a month after i had gotten my permit. me and my older brother were smoking all day, had been hiking, just hanging at his house. I really wanted to go to block buster, so he tossed me his keys and said dont be a dumbass. it was literally a mile down the road so what could happen right?

so i left, got there, they wouldn't rent me anything because i didn't have a credit card.
well since i was high i got the great idea to go play fast n furious through some neighbor hoods, but first decided to pull off and smoke a nice blunt.

hit the blunt and boxed the car out. when i rolled out again it was around midnight. i kept wondering why it was so dark, i hadn't flipped lights back on.

so cops coming down the other side of the street, shines his flood light at me. i stop at stop sign hella confused, he hangs a Uturn and flips his cherries. i immediately hit the AC open all windows hoping to air that shit out.

nope.

he comes up asks for license blah blah blah. i say nope!
they smelled what i was cooking. i was honest, told them what was up and they kept asking how high i was, i couldn't not laugh.

anyway, they ended up driving my brothers car back to his place, like two blocks away, then taking me in to be booked.

fast forward to court.

they threw out the driving charge for some reason and went after the possesion.

i got 6 months probabtion, 40hr of community service.
after 6 months i got my actual license, no suspension and everything dismissed.

guess it helps when your dad goes and gets you an actual lawyer instead of a public defender...

anyway, after that i made sure to stay on the straight and narrow. couldn't afford any more BS.

This is what i want to know. If you were dumb enough to leave your bag in plain sight then you have no one else to blame but yourself. The key is to comply with the arresting officer and give him no reason to search your car.
