Rear tires wearing super fast. Offset issues?

If you are talking about the sidewall then i am guessing you are rubbing the fenders because they haven't been rolled.

Dude they are 17x7 +40. No fender rubbing there.

OP, understand that when an E30 is lowered the rear suspension cambers and toes in quite a bit. Camber wear like what you've described is normal in this situation. However, your trailing arm and/or subframe bushings may be shot which will exacerbate the problem. So you will want to do a few things.

1) check your bushings. Replace as necessary.
2) consider getting adjustable rear hardware or raising the car up if the wear is still unacceptable.

Well, I know it's not the fenders not being rolled because the wear is on the inside and i can fit my fist in between the tire and fender lip. I'll put a picture of the wear.

I'm in for low tire pressure. honestly camber would have to be extreme to cause that amount of wear. did you even check your tire pressures?

also, I don't see any feathering or cupping so I don't think it's a toe issue. it's hard to tell for sure from pictures though.

Yes. That is all camber wear on a 17" wheel with with a 1.5" drop (or possibly) more.

Putting in camber adjusters or raising the sub frame up (will only help a bit) with different bushings is THE ONLY THING you can do to fix the issue while lowered.

I decided to order some caster and camber adj's from IE. That should do the trick along with new trailing arm bushings and subframe mounts.

Still will not do the trick. It will help correct SOME of the camber issues but you are still going to be eating the inside 1/2 of rear tires much faster than fronts.

Like most of us keep saying, its part of owning a E30 especially a lowered one, it comes with the territory, so get used to it and just suck it up and replace rear tires tires as often or return it stock ride height and tire size.

Please rotate your rear tires when the wear gets to about 2/3 of the tread and you will be satisfied a lil while longer with the longevity of the tires life.

get 16s and keep buying cheap ass tires.... thats what im gonna do no point in spending monies on NICE tires when they just wear out so fast...

just put stock supension back on it and be happy with no more running through tires....

i got about 5-8k out of my BFGs which isnt too bad IMO
