ariel atom. supercharged honda motor that puts out like 300bhp. top gear had a special on it, i've got it somewhere if you're interested.

The thing is around $25-30k. Made in Europe somewhere.
I'd love to own one someday, it's a street legal open wheel racercar.
Acceleration is awesome, and Jeremy Clarkson was in love with it.
You could be fuhraze and wear a helmet for your morning commute, I mean come on.

This is the Ferrari I saw when I was driving home...

Yeah, he was all over the place. Last year almost all of the remaining GTOs in the world came for Ferrari's year - it was over 30 of them, I think, including the one I saw get totalled trying to exit the Corkscrew. Whoops. Mmmmm, fabrication from the windshield forward...$.

The red one? I think it's a 935 "Whale Tail" from Lemans...I could be wrong. It was gorgeous. The blue and yellow one came off the Corkscrew flinging both rear wheel nuts into the sand and making, as you might imagine, a terrible noise. What's the quickest way to lose your job as a pit worker? I bet that's it....

A couple, I'll try to post them tonight. A pretty sweet little Pantera, one of many there, but you don't get to get underneath them like that very often. Not sure I like the wheels and the straight exhaust tips (most of them angle up in a rather wicked fashion).

Correction, my server SUCKS. It's my dad's Nikon D70, lens is a cheapy 70-300mm kit lense he got. I love the camera, but I'm going to buy a Canon 20D instead - I like the "feel" of the photos better. SLRs rule, especially ones with the constant autofocus for sports, like this one...

I've got a ton more photos of weird, notable, or unusual cars from this year and years past...
