I think I wanna get rid of my E30 for a Jeep

I've been putting together an 89 Wrangler for a friend of mine the last few weeks. 31" tires, 2.5" lift, fixing all the brakes etc..

Im driving it around with the top and doors off and its a blast. plus I live 5 minutes from the ocean so a jeep is great around here for driving on the beach. I do love my E30 but right now im prefering to drive the jeep for some reason. It bounces like hell and doesnt handle, the radio sucks, Its noisy, etc... But for some reason I WANT it!

Jeeps are fun. Do the right thing and own both.

Buy the jeep and put the shell of your e30 on top of it. 4x4 e30 ftw!

I know your pain! I let a 85 CJ-7 Laredo with Hardtop slip out of my hands at one time. It was THE one that got away. :(

Exactly this right here, I have both.

Mine is a YJ as well, and it is bumpy as hell, but it is pretty rad to bomb around in.

My e30 is my first and only vehcile so far but I was lined up to purchase an 89 YJ before I saw the e30 and fell in love. My next vehicle will be an older Jeep. Like the others are saying, if you can swing it or save up for it have both, one as a work horse/winter vehcile and the E30 for civilized driving.

Funny. I got rid of my Cherokee and ended up with my E30....and I do sorta regret it. Loved my XJ but it was starting to rot from the ground up and 15mpg was starting to hurt as a DD.

Wish I had a Jeep to trade for an e30....

....or you wanted two CJ2As that are awaiting assembly....

I got a hankerin for a YJ myself at the moment. I just want a beater; something I can just leave open with a bikini top and half doors all summer. 4 cyl/5 speed will do just fine.

Jeep is only good if you have off road trails and dunes to thrash around in.

I had a mint 92 YJ with all the goodies and I mean this thing was clean. The poor ride and poor driveability far ecceded the fun I had with the top off doors off and 4 wheelin awesomeness. I only had a small group of 4x4 friends and every one used theirs as a daily. If it was my second or third vehicle then I would have kept it, no question about it. I missed it at first because I went through a rough patch with my vehicles but once I got my vert I never looked back even once. I could post all day about why I like my 30 more than my jeep but it's your call bro.
I need your obd1 parts! Harness intake ecu etc.

I have owned a 79 and 81 cj7. Both were fantastic fun at the time (I was 16 to 22 yrs old). Did many cool things that you can only really do in a jeep, driving through creeks pulling sleds down snow covered roads, driving around with the doors and top off in 30 degree weather, basically being an ass if you will. However, now I would only want one for fun, I would hate do drive around in one daily.

                          This.

I have a Toyota Tacoma with a 2" lift and ruggo tires for off road fun and I have my E30 for weekend back road rips. Don't limit your fun with one vehicle.
