QQ about a car

this ^^ is the car is question. I went and looked at it today. The car has low rust (lower driver door and some on the back passenger fender area). There is an open circuit in the system someone as i guess the kid tried to swap out the ECU and someone spliced some wires. the battery has to be unplugged or it will die within hours.

My question is, what do you guys honestly think about this car? worth it or not?

The mileage is unknown due to a swapped out center gauge and the ecu is from another car.

yes.

you might be able to talk him down a few hundred because of the electrical issues. but i doubt you'd get below $3600. cluster isnt a big deal. just need to swap that. the open circuit...... that will require some work to track down.

not as familiar as i should be, but i do have some friends that should be pretty well acquainted with them i am sure. I will also mention that the car is not the original color. I guess it was resprayed a different shade of black a while back (even though it still has rust on the door); if you look at the pictures in the ad you can see how the black almost looks like a dark grey.

What would be some other major things for me to look for while driving it? I am going to have my mechanic go over it with a check list as well, but i would still like to hear other suggestions from enthusiasts.

2k. Maybe. It has rust (Albeit not much, it still does), and it has a shorted circuit (Not open).
