Well lets see. So spend spend yet another $10k on my e30? HMMM Well the suspension is pretty well sorted. I guess I could get it reapainted and some flairs. Find a nice ITB kit and some nice BBS 3 pieces in 15x10. I guess a nice fresh m20 would be nice too.

Turbo would be more but give more torque as well.

Meh, you can get an m30 for really cheap. Goodntight has already proved what you can do with one of those.

That was my first thought, I have an ETA, a Sedan and convertible would go nicely parked next to each other. But then again i don't drive the ONE i have enough.

M52 turbo will get you those numbers with enough money invested. But will leave VERY little on the bone to make the e30 safe enough to handle all that power. If you drop to 300hp you will have a better e30 in the long run. 400hp is a waste in a e30 unless you are into 1/4 etc. E30s are made for driving and 400 will make that very scary ;)

And click my build thread below, I am sure it is over 10k by now. Complete rebuild from top to bottom. I cut no corners and went with only top parts.

Take said 10k and spend it on anything but my e30,,,, p perhaps save for a down payment on a rental property. Anything but dump it into a e30, as much as i love them.

Chaos Theory?

I don't want to see O.P kill himself in a car with 500hp and 20 year old, worn out suspension and brakes.

You want to make sure your car is fully operational before going crazy with mods.



Edit:

Also, to have an engine make 400hp and be reliable in an E30 is probably going to cost you fair bit more than 10k.
