      Tonight? No. Previously? Yes.

I don't see why it matters anyways.

I asked because you didn't mention it in the post, and sometimes all it takes is a phone call ...that's all.

True, never gift. Still though, I believe he still would have been too far out of the time frame to file a claim.

I sent him an old bolster cover to see if he could match it back in June. His Dad died shortly after that and I haven't contacted him since due to respect of his loss. That being said, I've really been meaning to call and ask about it the past few weeks since the cabrio is approaching being ready for its interior.

So I'm sub'd to this thread.

I spoke with him Thursday, he is having trouble with his email server. Call him if you need to reach him.

Kevin is a stand up guy. My business dealings with him were very professional, prompt and even generous. I had a shift boot made by him and he threw the matching custom stitched ebrake boot in. He has served a bunch of folks on these forums and does good work.

It seems you were patient but give a call. Hopefully a conversation could solve any concerns. It seems out of his character.

I stand by Kevin and his work. No matter what, he has always answered his phone when called. I can't speak to what is going on with him right now, but this isn't a guy that would profit by scamming someone. OP, you've been here as long as I have, and I am by no means saying you are wrong. But I am saying KC is a good guy with the best intentions. I can't see him scamming anyone.

never dealt with the guy but from the rep he has i think you should call him and see whats going on because from a previous post somebody has spoken with him recently. then request this thread to be deleted to stop any further tarnishing of this guys reputation and business.

not taking sides but i am sympathetic to both sides.

never ever ever do bank to bank deposit unless you are 100% sure they have your item, ready to be shipped, i have had experiences like this and if they want money upfront go elsewhere

Granted, I understand your logic... but understand, this is R3V, and i don't blame a vendor here asking for a deposit and or the total amount upfront. Some of us will be fine with that, and some won't. Some will haggle until it doesn't make sense to even manufacture a product that adheres to the e30 community. Either way, we have a mis-communication. And it will most likely end up fixed.
