what parts should yank from a junked 325i ?

I just bought a 89 325 ix last month and am slowly fixing the myriad items wrong/missing on it. last week i went to a brand new local u-pull and found a 88 325i with most of it still there. Are there any parts that usually break that i could pull now as a back up? Electrical etc.
So far i've pulled a jack, pass side gutter trim, defrost volume and hazard switches, sunroof wind deflector, 2 side marker lights all for 20 bucks
would have liked to take the sport seats but they were pretty worn and one wouldn't work properly. interior was red ( not my color ), it had the premium speakers that i'll take next time.
All the relays in the fuse box were gone. OBC was there but i have the 6 button obc that one was the big one.
    Thanks
Red-ish 89 325ix with dent in the door, bad paint, missing center caps, broken defrost, broken ac, p/s pump may be going, brake pad sensors missing. On the plus side i just had the trannie and tc fixed for 2 grand!!

Lots of 88's came with maplights, did they not? Ski pass? Elpsoids? fogs? 88's were usually fully loaded.

I don't think I've ever seen an 88 with factory installed ellipsoids

bumpers, tail lights, side markers, interior if it is good, any body panels that are not damaged, random bolts just cause, clips for the IS lip, kidney grill, HVAC panel and trunk/sunroof seals.

        thats all i got.

Later produced 88's and 89's had ellipsoids depending on production date so it may or may not have them.

All the 89's did, but I don't think any of the 88's did. The July and on cars were slated for 89.

But I dunno for sure. So imma just stfu.

(are they worth looking to see if it has them? Fuck yea!)

I dunno, I've parted an 88 with elipsoids. I figured most 88's would have them. All 89's did as far as I know.

everything that everyone else said, and always check for a tool kit in the trunk lid, those are nifty finds. shift knob, leather e brake handle if they had one, some models had bmw flashlights in the glove box, 13 button OBC if it has one, anything euro if it's euro, plastic bumpers for sure, any parts that e30's commonly need, such as the AFM. fuses for spares!

                            Here are the cut offs...

9/87 to 6/89 produced cars had ellipsoids. Late 88 year models came with ellipsoids from the factory. These are facts.

Every 88 has them. The ski pass was 89 and up I believe.
