Yeah actually that is the gun I was planning to go with next, good call.

I decided to remove the decal pic because I didn't want the creator of a similar design to be worried about me selling them. But I couldn't figure out how to change the title.

The pen's sell for $25 a piece. Which I think is a really decent deal considering the kits are from CROSS and they are made out of some unique and rare woulds, hand turned and then obviously powdercoated.

If there is any interest in them shoot me a PM and I can let my brother in law. He may have some of that batch left but I doubt it. We will be making more and trying different color combos.

I think posters can edit their own thread titles now by clicking the edit button twice, but I'm not sure. I can change it for you if you want.

And if you decide you want to stop taking what I told you initially in COMPLETELY the wrong way, let me know. I never said a word about being worried about you selling them. I told you I had no problem with you using my design and creating them for yourself, but I didn't want them being distributed and/or sold. That was all.

Ok, well like I said, I meant no disrespect in making them or my response to your post. My point was that although similar, it is not your design. Your comment just sounded like a backhanded threat to me, which I thought was unnecessary. But if you say I took it wrong and you didn't mean it that way then all is good and I apologize. I neither have the time nor the interest in selling them, my plotter is 4 hours away from me most of the time. However, If you would like one I'd be glad to ship you one of the extras as a thank you for the design inspiration.

          Aforementioned decal

The dodge ones are for a good friend who just had his truck painted and had to destroy his factory decals to do it. The stripes were made to be fender stripes. Similar to the ones I put on Linderm3's old m3

Yes you can edit the title.

Have you done any other powder coat projects? I used to use a carboard box as well. It was frustrating and hard to see in, so I built a little box. I used a squirrel fan on the other side of this filter. I also have lights up top that this picture doesn't show. I put hinges all around it so it folds and hides away ;)

Let me tell you, it makes a world of difference having light and a filter so you can actually see what you're spraying.

think you can fit a basket weave in one?
Yes you can fit a weave in a household sized oven. We measured yesterday and we could do up to 18's (one at a time of course). I don't know if my gun would do very well on something that big but I am going to try on a spare bottle cap.

Nice booth, I eventually want to get an old fridge and make it into an oven so I can do sway bars and bike frames, things of that nature. No I have not done any other projects, this was my first time ever. I do want to build a better set up but right now I am a full time engineering student who is at school over 60 hours a week now that senior design is starting up. So I dont have much time to be coating and I don't have a permanent enough location to do anything like that. My set up has be able to fit in the closet at the end of the day. I can tell how nice you booth is after doing it in that box on the floor. Lights would be an amazing improvement.

Do it! Its really not that hard to get very good results. At least not with the kind of pieces I have done so far
