BMW police car 7 series? Wtf

Certain cops are allowed to use their personal vehicles. I remember at fleet services where I worked, we used to service a Nissan 350z and a Acura TL. Pretty sweet actually.

I got my first speeding ticket from an undercover Camaro in Indiana. He was riding my ass when we were passing a couple trucks on the highway, so I stepped on the gas to move out of his way. As I moved to the slow lane he followed me and turned his hidden lights on. That wasn't my favorite day of my life.

In 1993 I got arrested in Altus Oklahoma and the cop was driving a Marked 1967 Z28 with lightbar and all- told me it was a siezed car from a local dealer, they mostly used it for D.A.R.E. events.

I was also arrested in 1991 by a white 5.0 mustang that hyped my 17y/o ass into street racing him by reving the crap out of his engine- the plates were clokme2- used it for a speed trap car in the suburbs of Chicago- was a Cook county sheriff bastards!

And, my city is NOWHERE near big enough to justify as many unmarked cars that we have. It's pretty fucked up.

A few years back the Washington State Patrol was running a lowered euro'ed-out Volvo S40 on the 405.

lol that sounds so ghey. In Lake Tahoe a few years ago, I saw a marked Volvo S70 with CHP shit all over it.

since we're less than 2-3 miles from the US BMW plant they give surrounding cities patrol cars. so far there's two unmarked X3s, a 6 series "highway patrol car", and an X6 M that the general public "loves" because of the big tires.

You guys out west and whatnot have weird seizure laws, I have never seen anything more than a crown vic or charger as a police car. Only time I saw a foreign car that had lights and municipal plates was a toyota highlander.

Same stuff here. A couple c4's, camaros (new and old), chargers. Then we have Rams and Silverados that APD takes to hostage situations filled up armor, ammunition, and whatnot.

Shit, even the fire chiefs roll around in brand new unmarked Rams fully equipped with lights and sirens.

Back in Oregon, a local officer had his 3000GT squad car.
