Fuel pump relay replacement location picture

    Hi Guy's

Have a simple question, I want to replace my 1988 325is fuel pump relay.
Can anyone supply me with a picture as to where it is located.
    Thanks for all your help.

Hey barry, what caused you to want to do this? my car started having starting issues, it starts when it wants to and usually stalls shorty after. I checked my fuel pump and its barely getting any power. Could it be the relay?

                  Ok Guy's

So I pulled the three relay's out and noticed there are two green with part numbers both the same--61 36-8 373 700 left, and center. the far right relay was Bosch part number
0332014456 and was orange in color.
My question is are these the right relays? I know the fuel pump relay is right because I ordered one new. According to the pictures the part number for the first relay MAIN RELAY is not the same as what is installed? The last relay seems to be ok.

I read that the main relay and the fuel pump relay play an important part in the performance of the m20 motor and fuel pump operation. I ordered new ones from BMA and I'm hoping that the problem will be fixed. I also cleaned the relay carriages real good, remember these cars are old, and every thing needs to be updated at one time.

Just to add, wiring can also play of part in poor performance.

I will report back with further information as it comes available
