I got busted speeding too, I pulled away from a red light in under 5 seconds...hit 51mph and backed off to coast to 30mph (the limit) got taken to court and they threw book at me. Especially when in the UK the average 22 year old owns a 1.4 VW Golf and not a track prepared E36 328iSE that accelerates like a missle. My bad. Worse was the fact it was caught on an empty wide dark road at midnight in empty countryside, my bad. A telling off would have done. But I lost half my licence to points that day, judge would have let me off with a caution till they read out the stats and mods to the car in court. That was 5 years clean licence...bullshit justice in UK as same judge gave a fine to a man travelling at 130mph in a 70 zone just before me. I did get on the record as saying "that tranvestize in a wig has just fucked me up the ass" as the judge was wearing a pink suit and wig! Gay but learnt my lesson now I'm carefulLeave a comment:

e30 + empty road = bad idea.
so, I got busted doing 117kmph in an 80 zone in my e30.. there were no cars around and i wasn't paying attention to my speedo, then all of a sudden random police car came flying behind me with sirens blazing.
Safe to say i feel like shit at the moment, very stupid mistake which i am going to pay for with a 6 month license suspension and $500 aud fine.
Although... there may be some benefits to be had with this time off the road. My car may have some work done (possibly) .. stay tuned.
