Yea, I really don't even understand the whole 3.73 + eta thing. It's almost like people want to set up their 325's for the drags.

        Pulled a 3.25 lsd from a e28 5 series. ?I think a 528e? And put it on my 325e. :)

            It´s all simple math,

take allt the gears in the trans and multiply them with the diff ratio,

compare the end results, you will see that your 2nd with a 3,73 is basically a 1st with the 2.93 or 3,25 wichever it is,

I hate my 3,73 on my car and I can rev it to 7000+ (but the ratio´s in the trans are diffrent but it´s still horrible) I am getting a 3,15 real soon and that will be the ideal for me,

Well, obviously a 3.73 is too short for you, because of your extremely steep 1st gear. 3.15 would be similar to '95 M3 gearing, but I would recommend something like a 3.45 out of an E28. My father runs this gear in his car and it is 'nuts.' He describes it as, "knock out acceleration, good mileage on the highway, and it will still go to 140+."

I already have bought the 3,15

                when it´s 300hp + :)
                it´s gona be plenty good,
                I can always downshift :)

The 3,73 is pain because of the 5th gear really, 1:1 wich is like a 4th gear,
