those side markers aint worth anything. They are basicly side markers for a trailer that had to be added for our DOT

The manual rack is an even longer lock to lock than the power racks.

The steering wheel is about the only valuable thing you grabbed.

i knew that but for a manual rack you loose a belt, fluids and 5 lbs. lol

but on a serious note, some prefer manual because less things can go wrong.

I just saw a euro 325e at the junkyard last week. Didn't Think about the rack, but only valuable thing I got was grills the rest was standard stuff.

yeah in my 323i i have a manual rack and i like it alot better then a power rack, you feel more of the road and less weight. there are still things to grab like the valance, the motor mounts check panel an clock if it has one

Should have taken the 323i badge just for the rarity factor.

have you driven one with the power steering deleted? is there a difference between a real manual vs ps deleted? my old 318is had ps deleted and i don't like it at all.

no never one with a ps deleted. have only had full working ps on ones. but then again i had my 02 that had not ps on it so i like it better with out ps. from what i can remember lock to lock on ps vs man is like 1/4-1/8 or a turn. right now i have 8'' wides on the car an there is no problem driving it, or sitting still and turning the wheel

thanks, i can't wait to run this manual steering rack. i have driven 2 cars(04 sentra, 94 civic cx) with manual steering and its not even hard to turn at all, nothing like p/s deleted.
