I'm viewing car hopefully weekend. Guy has contacted me and wants in depth conversation tomorrow night.
For the money and looking at whats avaiable in this price range its a mega car. I love the look. The only thing that I have to decide do I want a 2 or 4 door for the 24v swap?

for the money, it should not have even been a question, you can resell it tomorrow for more money, or part the shit out for an even larger return.
what kind of people have in depth conversations over a vehicle that nice for basically a G
most of us if we were anywhere close to the UK, would have bought that the moment you posted it while you were him and hawing on it, and had it stripped into 1000 pieces online within hours or be driving a very nice 4 door car.
TLDR:
It has built in equity and can be resold or parted for way more money than you paid.. shit or get off the potI can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:

weren't the 320is/s14 only in italy? hence 'italian stallion?'
anyways, stateside that car would easily pull 5-7k assuming hidden rust isn't an issue.
regardless, i'd buy it in a heartbeat.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

You really can't ask people from North America for car buying advice when you live in Europe. Completely different market.
That being said this car would sell (assuming NO RUST) for 5k easily where I live, albeit after a bit of waiting. 1CAD = 0.6GBP
Also anyone who owns a 320iSE have any owner reports about the car and what is the brakes situation?
325e or es
325i or is
318i or is
No SE, no 320i, no M40, no 323 etc.
Theres a few rust patches main one being around the rear tow arear, nothing major at all.
Its had a poor repair on the nearside scuttle, must have been rust which has been sorted but area wasn't sanded down smooth enough before painting.
Also four doors are way nicer looking, and more practical than their 2 door counterparts (IMO). You own a 4 door E36 right, you'll miss the 4 doors. I moved from a 4 door E30 to an E21 and miss the 2 extra doors...

Edit:
Battery in the engine bay,
Looks like it has drum brakes in the rear.Last edited by Eecen; 09-27-2011, 07:59 PM.
