Sohc 2.5 vs dohc 3.8. yeah, that's a realistic fight.

Measure something more useful like 30-70 if you want to a better measure of acceleration. With 0-60, traction from a standstill is such a big factor and e30's don't have great traction.

I'm sure a lot of the swaps on here will have disappointing 0-60 times. But I bet they will have great 30-70 or 60-120 times or anything that doesn't take traction into account.

I'm a fan of the 30-70 test since you can still get an acceleration time that reflects the performance of your car without having to fight the loss of traction to get the best time not to mention beating on your car from the launches.

This site has some 30-70 times to compare to

            my videos:

            325i automatic 30-70 5.7-5.8 sec. Hoping for 5.5 sec when I re-test it soon

I'm getting about 5.7 sec 30-70 on wh33lhop's vid, kinda hard to see the hand sweep past 70 though.

Go with a 3.64 and 23 inch tires. If you have made a lil more power should help not going to third.

Slow :p you can't really time it very well from the video, plus my speedo is a little off.

Not at all worth it just to get a better 0-60 time.

esp when my tms chip would get me to 60 in second iirc.

I've got to try 30-70 and post it up soon. I'm too tired from finally getting around to claybarring and waxing the E30, though. It's only the second time, and I've owned it for 2 years?
